Well, Deb’s first outing on her new ebike was a success. I helped her learn how to stop and get off — something she’d been very nervous about. The bike barely goes into my MPV as the handlebars are high and wide. There won’t be room for both bikes so we’ll have to get a carrier.
@Miraz I’ve been looking into getting one, but need to buy a car with a tow bar first. I’ll be interested in how you go.
@yorrike The sales assistant mentioned a ‘hitch’. Both cars have a regular tow ‘ball’. I’m entirely unclear about the difference. Also tow balls come in different sizes and that can be important. I’m going to need to do a heap more research. Also, I won’t go to the local bike shop any more as their customer service last time I visited was appalling. That means I need to travel a bit…
