Why is Dave Winer still caring about Twitter and Facebook? Mr. Winer is such a proponent of the open web… and interoperability… Twitter and Facebook are the antithesis of those principles.

@numericcitizen I guess he can care about whatever he likes. The big beasts are relevant because they have the numbers. I much prefer my own website and links to micro.blog and mastodon - but this is still very much a fringe activity, numbers-wise.
