A history of thinking on paper The cover of Roland Allen’s book, The Notebook. A History of Thinking on Paper. Beneath it lies the brown paper envelope it arrived in, and beside it sits the blue pair of scissors that opened the package. : writingslowly.com

@writingslowly I’ve fallen into using notecards lately. They’re useful in the ways you mention, and also plain old fun: stuff a few in your pocket for a walk or waiting; order and reorder in endless new combinations; sticky-tack them around your monitor. I can tell this is going to get out of hand and I’ll have thousands before long!

@frank thanks very much Frank - yes I’m interested. Also, you have a great blog roll. It’s inspiring me to create one of my own, but there might be quite an overlap!

@writingslowly @frank Should anyone need it, Jill has mentioned in the past that she would provide free subscriptions to those who might need it with no questions asked.
I feel the need to update or create a custom blogroll/feed for some of these related ideas. (Currently they’re spread around… Now, what to call it? 🤔)

@chrisaldrich thanks, though my main issue remains there’s too much to read and too much good stuff! Look forward to hearing the name you choose
