I’m still not sure why the email alias I created for blog comments on Micro.blog is attracting so much spam. It gets tagged as spam but still 😡

@sod, is there any way to mask the email ID to prevent it from scrapping by spam bots?

@sod Thanks. I imagined that would be the case. During my WP days, I recall using a “secure” contact form instead of the regular one. I’m not sure of the technicalities behind it but I suppose it would add barriers to people who actually want to write in.

@sod thanks for your diligence both implementing this and letting us know! Worthy humans have been able to solve my footer puzzle so far, but I'll definitely add your plugin if I hear from anyone who can't!
