Watching Spotify’s media event. I think I only understand about 25% of the words they are using.

@cdevroe Thanks to alterting me to this, here's my take (conclusion at bottom). Re. jargon: most artists viewing probably felt the same - but a different 25% to yours!! I do find it fascinating that Spotify is as close a 50/50 arts-tech centaur as no other big company I'm aware of (what I'm also trying to achieve with my own career, SavvyIndie.com in particular)

I like Spotify. I think they have the best algorithms for music recommendation in the business. My comment was more about the language they were using to describe what they were doing. I’m not a big fan of buzzwords.
