This was unexpected: Arcade Fire and Owen Pallett will finally be releasing the soundtrack to one of my favorite films ever, Her. The movie came out in 2013, so it’s been a long time coming. I’m really looking forward to listening to this official version on March 19.

@ohBananaJoe You’re welcome! I’d done the same thing with downloaded YouTube videos. Maybe this release will end up being the same thing as our cobbled together copies, but an official version always seems much better than some bootleg.

@dandycat Only just now? This may betray my younger dalliances, but I reckon I had a version on me olde iPod Classic back in the day. Always assumed it was released. Now I'm a good boy and steal my music 'legitimately' via streaming will give it another listen

@w4rner I’m just jealous you had a copy of it available to listen to at any time. I don’t think I found a full version of it anywhere until somewhat recently. With this news, I find myself wondering something I haven’t in a long time: maybe I’ll... buy a copy of it?
