Hotel lobbies are under appreciated places to work. Sarah and I went to the Fairmont in SF for a writing retreat. She's working on a novel. I'm working on a board letter and marketing announcement.

@funcrunch Yeah, we'll be in the office tomorrow and have a board meeting there on the sixth. Come on in? I'm pretty sure we should just get you a pass.

@coachtony Very true. One of the good ones in #Chicago is the Chicago Athletic Association - it has an attached hotel now. Amazing fireplaces, wood paneling, and you can just sit there for hours!

@coachtony I got to stay there once when I was still working at Flickr, but via Yahoo! Australia, and somehow that was the hotel they picked. My wife and I got a *lot* of looks from others staying there because we didn't look like rich assholes.
