@jamesshelley thank you for this post. I have been reading a lot of “serious” blog posts on micro.blog and sometimes feel that I have to justify (to myself) my fluffy posts’ existence on the timeline (or write serious posts myself).
Your post helps me see that there’s another way of looking at microblogging, and alleviates my guilt at posting pictures of my cat.
