@JohnPhilpin @vincent glad to have this option. But wondering if this should be the default setting. In what scenario would someone want their visits also counted as hits (apart from immediately testing if the code works)?
@pratik also of note is that I actually have no idea who you are when you load the script. So having that option is the best I think. I could automatically, on the first hit, ignore the browser it was first loaded in (using the technique that sets it to ignore), but you don’t really have any control - if that first one was you or not. So it might set it to some genuine visitor. The way it works now is good middle ground.
@vincent I might be missing something but each time I try to do this in my browser, it goes to search engine and shows results for that string.
@pratik are you using Arc by any chance? If so, try the alternative query string of: “?ti=true”.
@pratik hmm, weird. I think I’ll add some direct links perhaps from the site panel. I’ve heard of this happen before, but I don’t understand why it’s happening.
@vincent Thanks. That worked. I could've sworn I tried it with the https://
as well. Anyway, it's now set across both browsers.
@pratik I'll change the documentation to show that. When I clicked on your link, I had the same issue... super weird. Anyway, glad it's working for you now.
@vincent Yeah, having a clickable link would be perfect with your domain auto-filled. I know NameCheap customizes its Help pages that way.
