The longer it’s taking Apple to get the Ultra stock back up, the more I think about canceling the order. I want it, but don’t need it. This is a though one!

@maique If you don't need it... don't get it... just saying... that money could be spent on the movie stars instead.

@vincent I was just waiting for you, sir, the little angel on my shoulder 😇 On the other one a lot of tiny devils are whispering on my ear. I could, or should, spend this on them but, I haven't really bought anything for me this year, and I was kinda looking at it as an early Christmas gift. I've been stuck inside for too long, I guess, and it's getting to me...

Also, the movieStars don't actually need anything right now, thankfully. The older one's birthday is coming up, and I'm struggling to find something that she could use!

@maique haha, your tiny little devils are really working you! I didn't say spend it right now, so hold onto it if you can... but if you REALLY "want" it, and you think it'll make you happy... get it. I'm only suggesting things. I'd say cancel it, wait for stock to come back into the shops/resellers and then go in with a clear mind that you still "want" it. Ordering online is easy.

@vincent I’m the end I can’t help feeling that this money could very well be used on something else, of course. The amount involved is big enough for me to consider this over the usual for an impulse buy. I know I’d love to have it and, if I don’t get it, I might just spend it slower, but on things that aren’t that important anyway. Subscriptions and such 🤣

@alexink I did. Followed @vincent’s advice, and I’ll wait for the Ultra to be available. If I still feel it’s a good idea to splurge that incredible amount when they do, I’ll get it. If the money is gone by then… Oops!

Sad to have done it, though. Let’s see how this one plays out…

@alexink I know I want it 😅 The cost involved is the one thing that worries me. It’s way more expensive than over there, and even more so when you consider the salary differences. We are also reading about energy costs going up by a stupid amount over here, electricity bills that are up 200% and more, and the winter hasn’t even arrived. Mortgage costs are also on the rise. All in all it’s a really stupid purchase to be making right now.

Having said that, I still want it, and will probably be having all these thoughts in a month again 🤷🏻‍♂️

@vincent Too soon for congratulations, I think. I did cancel, but the urge to go back is still very much alive. I’ll spend the night without opening the Apple Store app. One day at a time 😅
