@TheDimPause I like that idea very much. I'd love to see a good trial of universal basic income. Cheap to administer and would free up time and jobs.
@vanessa I agree entirely – their universal basic income policy is one of the reasons I supported the Green Party in the last couple of elections, having previously been a Labour voter for many years.
@TheDimPause Afraid I've never been a Labour voter, and never likely to be. I did vote LibDem at one point & have been tempted by the Green party. Generally I find a policy or two that put me off, though, along with the possibility of a "wasted" vote with our current voting system.
@vanessa I can't let a policy or two put me off - I could never vote for anyone if that was the case! As for wasted votes, that probably applies to a Green vote in the Labour stronghold that I live in :( I just take the view that I should vote for the candidate or party I most agree with.
@TheDimPause True. I usually end up voting for the party I dislike least, with the current state of UK politics! I've gone from a constituency in London where Labour always got in (Tooting) to a constituency where the Conservatives always get in. I still vote, though, despite knowing the outcome.
