@mnmltek Does it differ from a traditional podcast or just another name for the same thing?

I couldn't find a website for information.

@unoabraham I’m hoping to utilize the Wavelength App. It looks pretty appealing to blog and podcast straight from my phone. Stay tuned, no pun intended.

@unoabraham A microcast is generally considered a podcast that is on average around 10 minutes or less, give or take a little. As opposed to “regular podcasts” that generally take between 30 minutes and 2 hours depending on your genre

@mnmltek Very cool! I have plans to work on one as well!! I experimented with one last fall but I have a better idea for longevity now and Wavelength will help as well!

@EddieHinkle Thanks for taking the time to explain. Microcast as in microblog, a shorter variant.

Might be the very thing that turns me onto podcasts, never have the time to listen to an audio stream of one hour or more, so never did.

@unoabraham Yeah, I try to listen to full length podcasts when I can, but I LOVE being able to listen to microcasts. I only had a couple in my podcaster player before micro.blog just did their announcement. Now I have already almost doubled my microcasts. Only time will tell which of them continue on a routine basis rather than just being a test.
