Via MacRumors, Apple’s foldable iPhone is sounding more and more like the ultimate mini comeback story:

Apple’s first foldable iPhone will be equipped with a 7.8-inch inner display, and a 5.5-inch outer display,Ā according to Taiwanese research firm TrendForce.

Oh? 5.5-inch outer display? Just bigger than my beloved iPhone mini?? 7.8-inch inner display? Just smaller than my beloved original iPad mini?? Sign šŸ‘ Me šŸ‘ Up!

@jarrod Now see THAT I’d get. I’m still using my 12 Mini as we speak and I have a 14 Plus, which I hate. It’s enormous. I don’t know why I bought it. But to have a 5.5ā€ tool at hand all the time and an 8ā€ tablet for my aging eyesight as needed would be a godsend. I just hope they revolutionize pricing, as well. The new Fold 7 @ $2K is nowhere near worth that much. Then again, Apple’s pricing has been rather insane, as well. I just hope they recognize they can set a global precedent and kick Samsung in the nuts at the same time by pricing it @ $1K. LOLZ. That’s not what they’ll do 🤣🤣🤣

@tylerknowsnothing $1000 seems unlikely. $1500 sounds reasonable for replacing two devices… which means it’ll probably cost $2k. šŸ™

But if it turns out as good as I’m hoping, it will be hard to pass up!

@jarrod If this becomes a thing I’ll likely buy one immediately. I still have a 12 mini and the only way I would replace it today is by force and, then, only with a. Refurbished 13 mini.

I also have owned and preferred the iPad mini since its released so this would be the best of both in one.

@jarrod Sounds delectable, but I’m satisfied enough with my phone and iPad mini not to rush out to spend money for new.
