@MereCivilian I love the Mac mini. I’ve had a couple over the last 15yrs or more and they all just keep working until I can’t upgrade the software any more. My M1 mini has become a plex server and connected to my tv and replaced with an M2 mini. I don’t think I’ll need to upgrade for many years.
@peterw I’m with you there. I’m still on my M1 Mini and have a 2020 Intel Mini with 32GBs of RAM I use for Plex. Got the wife an M1, as well. I’ll likely get a base model M4 to replace my 16GB M1 in a year or two. Fantastic machines :)
@peterw how are you using it with a TV ? Is it like a media centre? Do have remote?

@MereCivilian mini is in the tv cabinet & tv is the monitor. It has Plex on it to be my media server for tv shows and movies. I watch them via Apple TV though to use its remote. It’s the base for home automation & I store my ripped CDs on it to play via Sonos speakers connected to the tv.
