I love my Apple Watch, but the OS7 upgrade is enough to make me throw it in a drawer and never wear it again.

@twweaver At least once (maybe twice) a day mine will just shut off and won't come back on for a couple of minutes.

@greghiggins Mine's done the same thing ever since the upgrade. And that perpetual inability to get more than 2gb free for the update - unpairing and re-pairing at each update is more than a little onerous.

@twweaver Luckily I don't wear mine all the time. I wear a mechanical watch most of the time. I try to wear the Apple Watch while working out, etc. Sometimes I like to wear it during the day, but not every day.

@greghiggins I've come to find mine indispensable throughout the day, basically being my "dumb phone / lite phone" for timers, weather, and messaging. Also voice recording. But this update's really making me question the wisdom of my method.

@twweaver I used to wear mine 24/7. Only took it off to charge it. I decided to stop that about a year ago. I went 3 or 4 months and never put it on. Now, like I said, it's more of a sporadic thing. I wear it every day when I'm at the gym or biking. Some days I choose to wear it for specific period of times. For instance, tonight and tomorrow I'll be broadcasting football games. I won't have time to check my phone, etc. So I'll wear it just in case my wife tries calling/texting with an emergency. However, I'm not wearing it right now at work.

@greghiggins I think you are approaching it from a far wiser perspective than I am. Might have to adopt your methods.

@twweaver Haha. I'm approaching it from someone who realized they were becoming too addicted to their technology and needed to dial it back some. I've tried doing that with all my devices. I'm taking a lot more hand written notes now too. Trying to live with the mentality that my devices work for me and not the other way around.

@greghiggins I've definitely hit the point where I need to get back to that.
