@twweaver Sounds like a red neighborhood but with enough balance that the Biden family isn't timid about saying it.

Such signs have no measurable persuasive power, but they presumably are a litmus test (and the people who plant them, having bought into their guys, are unlikely to skip voting).

@ReaderJohn Very much a red neighborhood, with a modicum of balance. Sign vandalism and theft runs rampant in the broader county, however; I'm amazed the lone Biden sign has been standing this long.

@twweaver True, I live in Trump country and see more Trump yard signs for that reason. But also over the past 4 years I've concluded that Trump people are just more likely than their opponents to put up yard signs. Don't know why. Trumpism has always had a chip-on-the-shoulder aspect that might help to explain it.

@JMaxB Most definitely. I get the feeling that it’s more of a defensive thing this time out. Less persuasive, more “look at this chip!” followed by a general eye-roll and a “let’s get this over with and him out” stance from the rest.
