@jack Wow. 🤩 The fact that it worked at all after that job was incredible, but also that it kept accurate time? Unreal.

@jack WOW!! Wouldn't it be fantastic to buy a watch that had been restored like that! In ham radio, there are hams who restore 50+ year old radios, which look (and work) like brand new radios when they are done. I have a Collins receiver originally built for the milirary in the 1940's and restored to the upgraded 1980's standard for that radio by an expert on those radios in WV. They were top of the line in the 40's thru 60's, costing more than most cars in those days. My model is one that was produced in high volume and helped us win WWII.
