So now that I’ve moved my main blog off of Micro.blog, my theory is that I will feel more incentivized to use my microblog as a microblog, posting more small updates and random thoughts. I guess it makes sense that my first random thought is about having random thoughts? Random.
@alpine Pretty much. I feel having them mixed caused me a friction to both writing more micro posts and writing more longer posts. I was sort of trying to make Micro.blog into a website publishing tool, and it might be able to work that way with the Custom home page plugin. Then I got really enamored with the idea of an HTML+CSS only homepage and that finally caused me to split them back up. I can really focus my microblogging here, and hopefully that leads to some more enjoyable conversations like this one!
@alpine That's good, too! Whatever feels good is good in this case. Are you planning to write some longer things? (Or in other words, write some longer things and share!)
@alpine I would for sure find useful and enjoy to read. I myself am starting to write more again, and getting some medium/longer posts ready. Plan to use Micro.blog for all posts.
