@jayeless I'm in the same spot. I can't see myself coming close to winning but even when I don't win, I do get some good writing done.

@KimberlyHirsh Yeah, that logic is what makes me think that maybe I should give it a go regardless! But I also really could do without the stress, and without the stress, I may not actually have the incentive to just get on with it and write... π It's a dilemma, for sure.
@tracydurnell Kudos to you for realising that! I think if I could establish a solid, year-round routine for myself, I'd be much more confident to just go, "Nah, I don't need NaNoWriMo." I just need to find the self-discipline for that π
@jayeless it still takes a bit of discipline to show up and work on writing, but co-working sessions have been the key for me! I use the service CaveDay -- I don't know how good their Australia time coverage is though π€·ββοΈ
