📚 My 20 favorite books I read in 2022 – including 9 SFF and romance novels, 5 graphic novels, and 6 non-fiction books.
Usually I just make a bulleted list, but this year I wrote mini blurbs for each. I’ve never come up with readalike suggestions before, it was tough! 😂
@tracydurnell wasn’t sure about Ocean’s Echo until I got to your “read this if you like” and then it became a must read. That and Nettle and Bone plus some graphic novels have been added to my list 😊
@humdrum I tried to think of stuff with a comparable vibe -- so Murderbot and Saga both also have some bonkers world building, vast universes with plenty of politics, tense relationships and surprising friendships, snarky commentary and "why is this my life 🙃" and omg run away so we don't dieeeeee going on 😂 Hope you enjoy if you wind up reading any 😊
