I meant to get something like this up a little earlier in the month, so you’d have some idea of what my NaNoWriMo project is, beyond just a series of word counts πŸ™‚ Nonetheless, it’s up now! I’ve published a wiki page about my WIP, with some background on the plot and how long I’ve been ... www.jayeless.net

@jayeless Sounds good. Wrestling with format is hard for any writing.

@jayeless thanks for sharing! I can very much relate to the third quarter glossover πŸ˜‚

It's tough when you have a core story that won't let you go but you can't quite pin down the best way to tell it. Last year I played around with rewriting my 2003 NaNo project -- same characters but with a plot instead of just vibes πŸ˜‚ Hopefully your current approach will turn out well-suited!

@tracydurnell Haha, damn those third quarters! Why do they have to be so difficult πŸ˜‚

And yes, absolutely – this story has played on my mind for years, but actually telling it is so difficult. We'll have to see whether this current strategy is the ticket! I hope your experiments with rewriting the 2003 project were fruitful πŸ™‚

@jayeless I didn't get super far, but far enough that I had some good epiphanies! One day it would be fun to finish it, but for now I'm committed to writing my current series. I really need to learn to write faster, too many stories and not enough time!
