NaNoWriMo starts in 4 minutes and so far I’ve outlined… about 25% of my project 😅 It’s gonna be a crazy month. 15 years ago I’d have been planning to stay up till midnight to ring in the new month with some word sprints, but I guess I’m getting “old”? @jayeless agreed, I gave up doing “HalloNaNoWeen” a few years back when I realized it was more important for me to get a good night’s sleep and maintain my regular sleep schedule than rack up a starter set of words by staying up till 2 🤷‍♀️

@tracydurnell Haha, yes, exactly. Healthy habits are important! And now I’ve had experience revising/rewriting a novel for ages, I’ve come to realise it’s worth it to take a little longer to write words that aren’t utterly crappy the first time around 😂
