I gave this baby hat away tonight. The mother-to-be thanked me, and I spent several happy hours planning and knitting the hat. I feel like I received more than I gave. (Photo: hand-knit hat, orange and blue arrows on gray stripes.)

@liz That is a beautiful hat I am sure the mother-to-be will love it and remember you everytime she uses it.
@liz I love the pattern and color combo! Is it your pattern, or can you link to it? Babies deserve all the cute hats.
@traci I started with the Sunset Slouch pattern, and used Knitted Wit: Double Bubble. My stitch gauge was a bit tighter with the DK yarn, so I cast on the ‘baby’ number of stitches, but expect it to fit like ‘newborn’. I only did the arrow part of the colorwork, not the dots. And I changed between colors since I wasn’t using a gradient yarn.
