@baldur Personally, I’ve never had an issue with iCloud or any glitches with syncing files, but I absolutely agree that Apple could improve the interface to reveal certain processes or the progress of things that are happening. That would lead to less anxiety.

@baldur So true. Apple knows how to do hardware really well. The software side is less solid but sometimes feels magical when everything aligns perfectly. Services (like iCloud) are a wreck. Apple has always been an awesome hardware company. I wonder if they will ever truly be more.

@baldur At this point I’m not sure truly good file based cloud storage exists. I’ve been burned by Dropbox before, and even when it works it really hogs system resources.

iCloud have been reliable for me, but I hate that it doesn’t automatically download all my files locally.

@baldur It truly sucks. I pay for 2TB plan, and they managed to lose a huge bunch of my photos. After a lot of back and forth with them, their solution was deal with it or hope you have another backup. Thats it. Thank god for Amazon photos backup or I would've lost them forever. Its the most overpriced BS file storage out there.
