Also, I started Alan Wake II and this is the first thing you see when beginning the game. It's.. a lot

@codinghorror I really liked this game. It was all over the place, nevertheless brilliant. Could not put it down.
@optimiced @codinghorror The sequel is infinitely better than the first (in my opinion). But what makes this an even better treat is if you are familiar with the "Remedy-verse". For maximum enjoyment, only play Alan Wake 2 after you have played Alan Wake 1 (obviously), Quantum Break and Control (+ at least the AWE DLC). And it helps to have a passing knowledge of Max Payne too :-)
@codinghorror Nudity, especially because of sauna, has an interesting place in Finnish culture. I think these opening minutes reflect this as well, despite the horror setting. He emerges from a lake, too.
@codinghorror My game of the year 2023, be sure to play on easy mode since the combat mechanics are clunky but the rest is superb.
@codinghorror this game has a "nudity filter" option in the settings that, as far as i can tell, puts underwear on Nightingale and changes absolutely nothing else
