@toddgrotenhuis I don't know about that. When I became Orthodox, one factor was that the "lost" Christus Victor theology has remained standard there, and is proclaimed in almost every service. Looking at the history of the Russian church, I can't say it helped to to cure state religion thinking.
@JMaxB Good point. It seems Orthodox is the exception on maintaining Christus Victor.
