@toddgrotenhuis Had someone tell me the other day that it was terrible and derivative and wasn’t worth it to see. I have a hard time understanding that. I’m also not bothered by spoilers, but I’ll take your word for it on this one :) Thanks! PS: Have you seen the ratings?! It’s amazing for an R-Rated film!
@tylerknowsnothing I guess it’s “derivative” in the sense that it takes established history and tropes, and creates something new out of them…something that simultaneously honors them while messing with them.
@toddgrotenhuis That’s true of pretty much everything. Nothing is new. It just takes a master who understands the materials and the medium to create something new and unique and iconic from things people think they know. I’m really excited to see this :)
