“You can learn a lot about a person by noticing who they go out of their way to defend.”

Another good variation on this idea. (you can see one of my versions here).

Edited to add: this should not be misinterpreted as a statement about who to attack.

@rcrackley ubderstandable, yet isn’t there so much falsehood and unfairness and zealousness to go around that we have to pick our battles? And if so, why aren’t we focused on the least of these?

@rcrackley to put it another way: when and where we decide to fight for fairness and honesty tells us a lot about or biases.

And none of us are fighting for it everywhere, and we are deluding ourselves if we think we are.

@rcrackley ok, I’ve read through the mastodon thread now, and maybe I’ve got some people muted, but I see a lot of disappointment and the worst I see is a couple folks saying they won’t renew their pinboard subscription. That doesn’t seem in line with you claims?

And yes, scapegoating and mob mentality are dangerous.

@jasonekratz I think your imagination may be failing you. What it suggests to me is that a group of trans women is likelier to include violent, sexually predatory outliers than a group of natal women.
