@toddgrotenhuis I looked up Axis deer, and I'm guessing you didn't shoot the deer in the Indiana wilds.
@JMaxB nope! They are invasive in Hawaii and I get them from a company that keeps the population down, there.
Between that and co-op Alaskan salmon, I’ve been able to eliminate any CAFO meat out of our grocery-shopping.
It’s my next-best alternative to vegetarian.
@JMaxB I did see whitetail on our property this weekend, though. And Indiana is trying to reduce population.
