Hey! Are there any Whitehack rpg fans in the house? I’ve had the 2e for a long time but am finally getting around to rolling up some characters. I’m a bit blocked with picking an interesting vocation though, and figuring out how all the character “bits” work together…
@herself are you looking for advice or just noting it? (If advice, what is your other RPG background, for context?)
@toddgrotenhuis me too, re: the upgrade! I have played quite a few different rpgs; I guess the ones I know best would be pathfinder 1e (been playing with a group for 12+ years), Dungeon crawl classics, Labyrinth Lord, Old School Essentials, Ironsworn, and most recently 5e. I’m always on the lookout for something I can start a kids’ group with and I’m interested in how Christian specifically was wanting to design something that kids and oldies alike could play! That said, I’m bouncing off a couple of concepts, like how the slots play out for different classes, and and the looseness of groups and how they come into play?
