Every time I see a teenage kid sporting a Nirvana shirt I get an urge to tell them I’ve seen them perform live. But then I suddenly feel myself very, very old and just sit quietly.
Nirvana is further back in the past now than the Beatles was when Nirvana was active 👴
@tkoola A few months ago, a kid walked by, and I pointed to his t-shirt sporting a black metal band and said I loved their latest album. I don’t think he was comfortable with a middle-aged man digging his edgy band.
@josephaleo yes, for my daughters I am too old to listen to Britney Spears or Lana Del Rey (I do point out that I am more close to Britney’s age than they are)
Sadly my kids are not into death (or any kind of) metal
