To my count it is my 34th day without coffee and energy drinks. Do I feel different? Not sure, but I sleep more. Am I being completely insufferable about not drinking coffee? 100%

@tkoola impressive! How bad was the original caffeine withdrawal headache? And what made you do it in the first place? And how much caffeine were you drinking? 😀

@hollyhoneychurch I had a solid head ache for about three days and it was pretty hard in the beginning. My normal dose was an energy drink and four cups of coffee a day. I want to have a break and then at some point reintroduce coffee back as something I can use when really, really needed. Trying to quit energy drinks altogether

@tkoola that would have been one hell of a headache 😄 it’s the worst kind of headache I’ve come across. And I don’t even drink as much as you did. Well done for getting through it!! Do you like the taste of coffee and drink decaf? Energy drinks feel quite dangerous for the body.. caffeine is probably the least of the problem in them. I used to buy natural guarana powder and put it in smoothies when I didn’t drink coffee. That perked me up. 🥰

@hollyhoneychurch the headache wasn’t too awful luckily, it was more like this gnawing reminder. I don’t enjoy the taste of energy drinks at all, but coffee can be really good. Both were more addictions or habits rather than enjoyment. I hope I can some day just enjoy a cup of great coffee 😊

@tkoola wow, you handle it better than I do 😀 and I only have 1 coffee and 1 black tea a day! Yes, the psychological side is super challenging too. A perfectly made coffee is a beautiful thing. I've perfected it for me and haven't had a great one in a cafe for ages. Hope you get there.
