@tkoola Most of the fans know that Amazon only agreed to pay for 6 episodes in the final season, that the writers and showrunners wanted more, and therefore I think folks are impressed the show came to a "kind of" ending that felt true to the story despite it not being as complete as they'd like.
@tkoola ha, this was my thought too. 6 episodes, much shorter than the rest… I only just finished book 4, but that TV series ended abruptly. Like they didn’t want to do it anymore.
@Cheri I think it was as good as it could have been given the limitations, and I am happy it happened, but still sad it ended like this
@furstenberg Yeah, my best guess is they wanted to leave an offramp for continuity in a future TV/Movie project. But if you didn't read the books, it could easily be confusing!
