I find this tool amazing, it gives you audio, listens to you and then gives you tips on how to improve (Edit: it is part of the Google main page for some languages):

@tkoola That's really useful! I'll admit that I can't stand that method of "spelling" pronunciation, but at least it gives you other words with the same sound so you can know what it's actually trying to tell you! Also… I'll admit that I always thought it was a [ʊ] in the first syllable, like pull 😳
