Found this interesting The Play, the points, and the biggest lie in software. Been thinking about demonstrating value and what a SW project can promise a lot lately. Are we trying to promise something our methods don’t deliver? Or are we just very poor communicating our value?

@tkoola I think we can look at movie industry. Movie production can promise that when you spend x days to shoot and post produce a movie, you will get a professionally acted movie, edited, and everything in place. But what you don't get is a guarantee that the movie will be a hit
