@tinyroofnail An excellent, insightful conversation. Thank you for sharing. Many ideas resonated, but today I am particularly struck by Jonah Goldberg’s point that an absence of gratitude (for liberal democracy) is a recipe for decay. “If you love your boat, you gotta scrape the barnacles.”

@ablerism This was good, thanks again. And maybe some growth for deBoer? — in that he waited until the very last line to say “WTF, guys?” Normally my political schadenfreude guilty pleasure meter is full by paragraph 2 🙂
