It means the first Test in Chennai starting in the early hours of Friday morning will be the first live Test cricket on free-to-air TV in the UK since the iconic Ashes series in 2005, which was also on Channel 4.
@TheDimPause if my recent sleep pattern is anything to go by, I will be awake in time to watch the start of the Test on Friday. Rather than try to get back to sleep I think I will make the most of the opportunity!
@strandlines I will probably try that for 1 or 2 of the days too but don’t think I can manage it for 4 or 5 days in a row though. Even getting up at a more ‘civilised’ time of 7am will mean a few hours of play to watch though. 😀
