@leonp That series also looks interesting! Thanks for mentioning it. As far as subtitling goes, I don’t need it just for different accents but when the dialect is really unfamiliar, then it helps. I turn on (Spanish-language) subtitles when I watch anything in Spanish, too – it’s just a bit of backup if I miss something they say. For hard-of-hearing people, too, I imagine it’d be a small change (surely they could put the words below the screen instead of covering parts of the frame) that’d help to make the movies more accessible.
