@Havn Ah! I had not thought about the keyboard part in terms of thickness.

@Havn haha, I listened to this and thought the same thing. I do actually, like the fact that hey have gone thinner and it will be interesting to hold one. However, the 13 inch magic keyboard is a beast.

@Havn basically the old complaint that Apple is form over function, forgetting that for many form is a function.

@teisam @havn @munish Just wait till Apple buys up Gillette, and we get the Apple iPad Fusion: 3 razor sharp iPads that you can also shave yourself with!

@teisam In this case, I'd even argue that "form is function".

It being lighter (which is more important than "thin" in this context) makes it function better, both as a tablet (held in your hands over time) and as a laptop replacement (as the new Magic Keyboard seems significantly better).

@Munish @odd @teisam @pratik It can't be thinner, due to the USB-C connector...

They would need to invent a thinner plug! Maybe something like this? 🤔👇🏻 A Lightning connector.

@Havn Absolutely. When I had the MBA11 and later the MB12, the size and the weight was very important functions for me because it meant that I had them in my messenger bag regardless if I needed it or not that day.

With the personal MBA13 or the work issued MBP14 I only pack them if I really know that I need it. The latter mostly because I have a week being on call every other month.

@teisam Yeah, and not only that: I think the inclusion of a function row is directly linked to the reduced weight. If that's not "function", what is? 😅
