I've been using ProtonVPN (from the ProtonMail folks) for years but the past few months it takes forever to connect on iPadOS. I'd appreciate non-spammy suggestions for an alternative with good throughput. I don't need the highest level of privacy. Linux support a plus #vpn

@ted Thanks. I’ve seen several recommendations for that so I’ll look into it.

@ronguest I'll second @ted's recommendation of Mullvad, but I hesitated because you said privacy isn't your main concern. Speeds were fine, if I recall, but there's no safe network setting which I need for work. I'll get fired if I try to connect to a VPN while on my school's network.
