@jack You are not alone. Happens to me too every now and then -- would enter that unproductive phase. And I came to a similar conclusion as yours. What I find working for me is the SelfControl app. Or just disconnect the wifi. A walk or biking around is something I have started doing recently.
@amit Glad it's not just me. I've tried apps like SelfControl with limited success. I commented during a recent power outage that I'd be more productive if the power would go out for a couple hours every now and then.
