Aargh, between anti-Money Laundering Measures and anti-scam and anti-fraud measures, trying to do anything relating to money these days, like paying for a piece of land, is a nightmare. Lots of proving identity, getting signatures witnessed, calling the bank and so on. 💲💲
@Miraz much better than people getting scammed out of the houses they’re actually living in for decades like here in parts of the US though.
Folks just going to their mailbox to find their already paid off house had been short sold to someone out from under them.
