The other day in Otemachi of all places, I saw a group of 3 or 4 teen boys carving up a parking garage entrance on skateboards. It was jarring to see that in that area. 🛹

@starrwulfe I have an image of that being done in like, Shibuya. But Otemachi is so buttoned up. Didn’t know about the Kannai area!

@rickcogley 15 years ago, I was actually seen sometimes hanging out with some skateboarding guys and generally being a part-time vagrant around Shibuya whenever I had a bit of free time; especially near where Tokyu Hands, the Udagawa Police Box, and the NHK Entrance to the Yoyogi Park basketball courts area 😅

I liked that I could be professional & proper on one side of town where I worked and "that guy" somewhere else in the Metropolis and keep my life separated.
