Watching the news at lunch. I want to blog about the war in Israel but it’s too divisive and terrible. Not interested in inviting a debate right now. Strong feelings mean everyone is quick to hit reply. I’m okay writing about American politics but this is much harder to get right in a short post.

@manton I think this goes three times to you. You are a "celebrity" here on MB, you are the person behind this social network, and last but not least, you're human with opinions. It's hard. I hope you do have enough people to talk to around you.

@manton I hear you, I think it’s a time in which we need to be open to hold two things on our hearts, we have to hold our empathy for the suffering of innocent civilians in one hand at the same time as we hold the historical view of how it got this bad and how we get out of it.
