Trump appeared to doze off a few times with his mouth hanging open and his head drooping down, the New York Times reports from the courtroom. Trump’s lead counsel, Todd Blanche, passed him notes for several minutes before he “appeared to jolt awake and notice them,” per the Times.

@anniegreens Just kidding but yeah, this news was everywhere. Not everyday does a former President be on a criminal trial.
@pratik "Everywhere" assumes I ensconce myself in news every day. The last news I watched was Friday, then I listened to the Jack podcast yesterday and then I promptly forgot about it because I have a life and did a whole bunch of stuff today. I think I'm allowed to let it slip my mind.
