@Munish I wouldn’t say it’s a huge upgrade, but there are definitely a bunch of quality-of-life improvements. What I’m personally looking forward to is beefier hardware. My eyes and brain are pretty sensitive to low frame rates in games, and the current Switch has a lot of that. So I’m hoping the Switch 2 will deliver smoother gameplay.
@sod I was looking to get one. As I have never had a switch, I may just go for the first gen. I wonder if the price will drop 📉
@Munish The current Switch has a huge library of great games, so if playing the latest releases isn’t a priority, you can still have a ton of fun with it. (I’m very happy with the OLED model.) If nothing else, I’m sure there will be plenty of used consoles available on the secondhand market in a couple of months. 😊
