I biked round to the village today. It’s a tiny trip: 5.5 Km return, but stops me from getting completely out of the cycling way. The river was very still, and fairly low. A stand-up paddleboarder went past, and then two kayakers.
@Miraz Nice! I keep forgetting it is summer there and certainly nice biking weather. It's been too long since I visited and even though I have a folding bike I doubt I could take it.
@Miraz Lovely to see your river (I assume the bridge in the second photo is the footbridge you sometimes mention?)
@smokey How attentive you are! Yes. Our village has a river / stream with a footbridge over to private land that allows public use. Not surprisingly, the river flows into the see only about 100 or so metres downstream.
