@adders Re his point about making connections to climate change, I’ve noticed the (lowest-common-denominator news) television news here seems to utterly refrain from attempting to make common-sense connections/analyses for their viewers—on all subjects—and it is frustrating to no end, because while I know that I (mostly) know enough and read enough to be able to make those connections, so many Americans do not/cannot. We had a record-breaking 90(?) days of 90°+ in 2019, and our local news stations were “excited” to bring us this count in the weather segment, every time it incremented, but they refused to even suggest a possible link to climate change…. Somehow “facts” and “objectivity” are getting in the way of telling the truth…. (Sorry…as a journalism expert, you surely know this already :-( )
