I visit my Baba every weekend; she hails from North Macedonia and this is her Turkish coffee set-up. The silver thing is her portable Greek coffee stove, along with a few of her favourite cups that show the faces of Macedonian revolutionaries. Classic stuff ☕️

@giffengrabber Not surprised! 🙂 I think that most who drink it prefer no milk. I certainly only ever had it without milk, until I visited North Macedonia and one of the people who worked at one of our hotels offered milk with it. Since then, I’ve preferred to have milk as well. I know—sacrilegious!

@smokey Please read in a stereotypical, Macedonian-Australian (Slavic, Russian-esque) accent: ‘BEST COUNTRY IN WHOLE WORLD, ALEXANDER GREAT NUMBER ONE AND TITO BEAUTIFUL MANS’.

@martinfeld Haha! I can do the Slavic part of the accent, but putting an Aussie twist on that is more than my poor brain is capable of producing 😳

@smokey Haha if you have the Slavic part that’s more than enough!
