@johnjohnston Neat!
@johnjohnston Hah damn; I can’t view it since I (by default) block all social media and ad platforms at my Gateway via DNS :D
@johnjohnston Also, since you’re doing photo retrospectives, you might be interested in @sketchbookb’s Fav8 concept.
@prologic I can see that might be a good idea, but YouTube is handy and cheep for occasional video hosting. Given my concern about some kids I teach who spend, IMO, far to long on YT I should probably think on this.
@johnjohnston Yeah one of the driving factors for my "Network-wide” block of various things was YouTube itself. My wife and I found that the so-called "kids shows” our kids would watch over just a short couple of years started turning into content we found border-line or just inappropriate.
@smokey @sketchbookb I am thanks. I’ve used the auto 9 thing in the past. I’ve also got a mess of AppleScript and shell to make ones with wee maps in the middle. Going to make a Fav8 as well now I know about these:-)
@johnjohnston Yep, I thought about those with the wee maps as another reason you might be interested 😀
@prologic it’s a problem. For a teacher there is some great content there. Unfortunately it comes with some questionable ways of keeping the site sticky. I sometime download videos and AirDrop (which might be morally questionable too!)
